Growing up in Kansas City, Brad often assisted his step-father, an amateur photographer, in the dark room. After high school, Brad enrolled in the prestigious Brooks Institute of Photography in Ventura, CA and began studying cinematography and filmmaking.
Brad returned to Kansas City in 2004 where he began a commercial photography business focusing on creating images for art, fashion, portrait and magazine editorials. Brad’s work can be seen regularly in NORTH Magazine, KC Studio, AFFARE restaurant and the Northbounder: Style & Story phone app—which he created. He has contributed to FEAST, 435 South, KC Mag and works with many of Kansas City’s top fashion designers, stylists, and makeup artists.
As an artist, Brad continues to use light and technology to craft stories and images. Currently, Brad is the Creative Arts Producer for Kansas City's PBS station, KCPT. He creates short documentaries that focus on the stories of people that live, work and create in the Kansas City area.
